My client is one of the industry leading construction companies specialising in Commercial and Industrial projects with a reputation for delivering schemes up to £30m. I am currently assisting them with their requirement for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a commercial scheme valued up to £15m.
The ideal candidate will have experience running either a new build or refurbishment project north of £10m. These duties include the following:
- Overseeing a team of Site Managers while reporting into a visiting contracts manager.
- Weekly reporting against programme, maintaining the programme progress, including client progress report.
- Sub-contractor weekly meetings & progress reports.
- A daily client facing role.
- Sequencing of works both internally & externally, assistance with Subcontractor Enquiries & Procurement.
- Quality assurance, working with site team to collate all QA and sign off sheets.
- Ensuring site set up, Health & Safety, and administration are compliant.
- Community Liaison.
- Drawing Management, collate As Built Drawings.
- Coordination of Statutory Bodies i.e. services.
- Coordinating with local inspectors, including building control Plan Check to Practical Completion, highways etc.
Our client is providing exceptional pay rates dependent on the specified requirements due to experience on an ongoing contract basis.
