PSR Solutions are working with a leading fit-out contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager with a strong MEP and services coordination background for a prestigious hotel project in Central London. This role would suit an individual who has progressed from a fit-out supervisory background and has developed a strong understanding of MEP installations, programme management, commissioning, sequencing of trades, and project close-out procedures.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and delivery of MEP and fit-out works, ensuring installations are completed safely, to programme, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in managing subcontractors, monitoring progress, coordinating trade interfaces, and driving the project through commissioning, testing, snagging, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations on a high-profile hotel fit-out project.
  • Coordinate MEP installations and ensure works are delivered in line with programme requirements.
  • Monitor progress against programme and identify potential risks and delays.
  • Manage the sequencing and coordination of multiple trades across the project.
  • Oversee temporary testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover activities.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout the construction process.
  • Produce and manage progress reports, snagging reports, and close-out documentation.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, project teams, and client representatives.
  • Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Drive project completion through to successful handover.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, Fit‑Out Manager, or Senior Supervisor within the fit-out sector.
  • Strong understanding of MEP services and coordination.
  • Experience managing programmes and construction sequencing.
  • Knowledge of commissioning, pre‑commissioning, testing, and handover processes.
  • Ability to produce progress reports, consultant reports, and snagging schedules.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience delivering high-end commercial, hospitality, hotel, or fit-out projects.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.
