About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Cleaner to join an active construction site team in central Bournemouth on a long term basis. You will work through the recruitment agency PSR and be assigned to a reputable construction company. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe, tidy working environments and who is comfortable working on live sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily site cleaning: sweep, mop, remove debris, empty bins, and maintain welfare areas.
- Waste management: segregate and dispose of general and construction waste in line with site procedures.
- Sanitation: clean and restock site toilets, canteens, and drying rooms.
- Hazard control: report hazards, remove small debris safely, and assist with keeping walkways and access points clear.
- Support tasks: assist site teams with ad hoc cleaning and basic site housekeeping duties as required.
- Compliance: follow site rules, health and safety procedures, and attend site inductions.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: previous cleaning experience preferred; construction site experience advantageous but not essential.
- Attitude: punctual, reliable, physically fit, and able to work independently.
- Safety awareness: willingness to follow site safety rules; site induction and PPE will be provided.
