Responsibilities:

  • Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale industrial construction projects valued up to 100m.
  • Preparing cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts across multiple UK sites.
  • Working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Monitoring project costs, forecasting, and reporting on commercial performance.
  • Supporting procurement activities and subcontractor management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conducting regular site visits across the UK to oversee project progress and commercial compliance.
  • Ensuring all commercial activities are carried out in line with company procedures and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the industrial or commercial construction sector.
  • Must have experience working for a main contractor on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial management processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across various UK sites.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
