Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join a social housing adaptations project in Sheffield. This role involves carrying out a range of maintenance and adaptation works within occupied properties, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out multi-trade works including (but not limited to) carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and general repairs
- Complete social housing adaptations in line with project specifications
- Work efficiently in occupied homes while maintaining professionalism and respect for tenants
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures on site
Requirements (Essential):
- Valid CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP)
- Full DBS check
- Face Fit certification (to be carried out by Wates)
- Own vehicle
- Qualification or apprenticeship in a primary trade OR NVQ Diploma in Building Maintenance Multi-Trade Repair and Refurbishment
Additional Information:
- Immediate start from 16th May
- Minimum 3-month contract with strong potential for extension
- Competitive rates (dependent on experience)
