We are working with a well‑established, Tier 1 main contractor delivering large‑scale high‑rise developments across Yorkshire. Due to continued project wins, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi‑room schemes.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business known for structured delivery, strong supply‑chain relationships, and repeat client work, with a solid pipeline of regional projects.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day site management of high‑rise schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Typical projects include:
- High‑rise residential and multi‑room developments
- Complex RC frame structures
- Schemes with high levels of coordination and sequencing
Key Responsibilities
- Full site leadership from start to completion
- Managing site teams, subcontractors, and logistics
- Driving programme, quality, and health & safety performance
- Coordinating with Project Managers, Design Managers, and Commercial teams
- Ensuring compliance with company systems, RAMS, and statutory requirements
- Representing the contractor professionally with clients and consultants
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on high‑rise construction projects
- Strong multi‑room / residential / complex build background
- Main contractor experience is essential
- Natural leader with a hands‑on, organised approach
Qualifications
- CIOB membership (desirable, not essential)
- First Aid and CSCS
