A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Surveyor to join its Building division in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the capital's most prestigious commercial developments, with project values typically ranging from £100m to £300m.

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded commercial team, supporting projects through tender, pre-construction and delivery phases, while playing a key role in the commercial and contractual management of complex, large-scale schemes.

The Role

As Senior Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for the effective commercial management of major commercial construction projects, ensuring robust cost control, risk management and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with operational and design teams, you will support procurement activities, manage subcontractor accounts and contribute to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing project costs and producing accurate financial reports and forecasts
  • Supporting the procurement and commercial management of subcontract packages
  • Preparing subcontract documentation, issuing enquiries and negotiating agreements
  • Administering subcontract accounts, including interim valuations
