A small, welcoming and well-established nursing home on the outskirts of Dumfries is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis.

Competitive hourly pay rate of £14.60 per hour, equivalent to £33,404 per annum

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are delivered to residents. What we are looking for in a Senior Care Assistant:
N/SVQ Level 3 qualified (or working towards)
Medication training is desirable (training can be provided)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, proactive approach with a genuine passion for care
Enthusiastic, motivated, and confident working as part of a close-knit team
Ability to support, mentor, and motivate junior staff
