Overview

PSR Solutions are seeking an experienced Site Manager to work with a specialist modular/offsite construction contractor delivering high-quality modular building projects in and around Rochester. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery of modular installations and associated site works. This role will suit a Site Manager with strong experience in modular, offsite, or systems-built construction who is confident managing logistics, cranage, subcontractors, and client interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all site-based activities for modular build projects from set-up through to completion and handover.
  • Oversee delivery, lift, installation, and finishing of modular units.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth programme delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Produce and maintain site documentation including RAMS, permits, toolbox talks, and progress reports.
  • Conduct site inductions and daily briefings.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, and client representatives.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure works meet specification.
  • Maintain site security, housekeeping, and welfare standards.

  • Gold CSCS Card (Site Manager / Construction Management)
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction.
  • Strong understanding of modular or offsite construction processes (highly desirable).
  • Experience coordinating modular unit deliveries, cranage, and installations.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience on education, healthcare, commercial, or industrial modular projects.
