Job Description

PSR Solutions are working with an established client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to Join their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role with be project and site based, with their office based in Manchester and projects across the North West.\\n\\nQuantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities\\n\\nProvision of accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels to inform Group reporting\\nCost management and project forecasting\\nDrafting and updating a monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans\\nResponsibility for subcontract procurement, negotiation and financial accounting\\nEffectively manage contract and subcontract agreements, primarily IChemE and NEC forms\\nAbility to interrogate and challenge records, reports and cost data\\nMitigate commercial risk, identify and realise commercial opportunities\\nWork with the wider project team to forecast predicted expenditure and cash recovery to ensure that both are in line with business unit expectationQuantity Surveyor Requirements\\n\\nBSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course\\nNEC Contract experience is Essential\\nDemonstrable experience in monthly forecasting and cost analysis\\nPrevious experience in the construction industry\\nExcellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office\\nValid driving licenceQuantity Surveyor Benefits\\n\\nSalary – £45,000 – £60,000 DOE\\nBased in Manchester, North West\\nCompany Car or Car Allowance\\n25 days annual leave in addition to 8 public bank holidays and loyalty days\\nCompany pension\\nLife Assurance\\nPrivate MedicalIf you are interested in this Quantity Surveyor role, please apply or contact Jack Brown at PSR Solutions
