We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will have a valid Streetworks (NRSWA) Card along with proven competence in using CAT & Genny equipment. This role involves working on a variety of civil engineering and utility projects, ensuring all groundworks are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all aspects of groundworks including excavation, reinstatement, drainage, kerbing, and concreting
- Conducting underground utility detection using CAT & Genny equipment
- Working in accordance with Streetworks (NRSWA) regulations
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times
- Collaborating effectively with site supervisors and other team members
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard
Requirements:
- Valid Streetworks (NRSWA) Card
- CAT & Genny certification and practical experience locating underground services
- Previous experience in groundworks, civil engineering, or utilities
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
