PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Planning Engineer role in the Wiltshire area. This will be working for a well-established contractor within the Rail and Civils industry and they are looking for a Planning Engineer with a vast amount of experience within the industry and engineering.
Responsibilities:
- You will be involved in both Planning, Design and Construction phases of the project.
- Reporting and working closely with the Senior Engineer.
- Input into buildability reviews of proposed designs.
- Identifying and liaising with stakeholders and land agents throughout project development to gain third-party approvals.
- Liaise with suppliers.
- Input into pricing & estimating for schemes.
- Input into long-term planning of a work bank of schemes.
- Identifying methods to utilise existing GIS, survey and client technology systems to aid pre-construction.
- Working with the client to ensure development costs are monitored against a fixed budget.
- Preconstruction, technical input with designers and construction teams.
- 5 days a week in their office, with site visits with designers and engineering team (not regular).
Person Specification:
- Civil Engineering Degree - ICE Graduate, Incorporated, Chartered Member or equivalent.
- Experience within an ECI/Development phase of a project.
- PTS CSCS Card.
