We are looking for a passionate, visible leader with strong change-management skills, who can support staff, maintain excellent outcomes for residents, and contribute to the future growth and sustainability of the service.

About the Nursing Home Manager role and what’s on offer:

  • Permanent, full-time contract – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (day shifts with on-call duties)

  • 30 days annual leave
  • Well-established, fully occupied service with no agency reliance
  • Strong existing quality ratings and positive local reputation
  • Opportunity to lead and support a service transition and future expansion project
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing training & development
  • Supportive senior management structure with genuine opportunities for progression

What we’re looking for in a Nursing Home Manager:

  • Experienced Nursing Home Manager, or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to step into their first Home Manager role
  • Hold a recognised care management qualification (e.g. SVQ/NVQ Level 5, RMA, or Diploma Level 5)
  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) – essential
  • Proven experience managing change, leading teams through growth, and maintaining quality during transition
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, retain, and develop a stable staff team
  • Solid understanding of CI/CQC regulations, safeguarding, and local authority processes
  • Commercial awareness with a sales and occupancy focus, while maintaining outstanding care standards
  • Highly organised, proactive, with excellent communication and administrative skills

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially aware nurse leader to take the reins of a high-performing nursing home, while helping shape the future of a growing service with strong senior-level support.
