PSR Solutions are working with a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor to recruit an experienced M&E Project Director for a major £40m+ M&E package on a high-profile public sector project. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established project team and take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a technically challenging scheme from construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across the full M&E delivery function.
- Lead and manage project teams, including Project Managers, Commercial teams, Design Managers and Site Management teams.
- Ensure programme, commercial, quality and health & safety objectives are achieved.
- Manage client relationships and act as the senior point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Oversee procurement, design coordination, commissioning and handover activities.
- Drive project performance, mitigating risk and ensuring contractual compliance.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain programme certainty and commercial success.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating as an M&E Project Director, Senior Project Director or equivalent on major construction projects.
- Strong background delivering large-scale M&E packages valued in excess of £20m.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
- Demonstrable track record delivering projects safely, on programme and within budget.
- Strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills.
Desirable
- Experience on public sector, custodial, healthcare, defence or other highly regulated environments.
- Tier 1 contractor background.
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification.
- SMSTS and relevant industry accreditations.
