A main contractor is seeking a Senior Design Manager to join their team in North West - Manchester. The business undertakes projects in various sectors including Commercial, Education, and Defence with values ranging between £10m and £50m.
As Senior Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure their safe completion, in accordance with programme, specification, and budget.
Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 + Package
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee design processes during pre-construction and, when necessary, construction phases.
- Analyse and interpret Employer's Requirements documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive Contractor's Proposals.
- Coordinate and supervise external design consultants.
- Implement innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of design information and resolve issues within strict deadlines.
- Participate in tender launches, adjudications, and project initiation meetings as needed.
