PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established civils and groundworks contractor delivering major data centre projects across West London and the surrounding M25 region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and commercially aware construction professional to join a contractor with a strong reputation, an impressive order book, and a long-term pipeline of technically challenging schemes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing multiple high-value civils and infrastructure packages from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple civils and groundworks projects simultaneously from mobilisation through to handover.
  • Lead and support Site Managers, Engineers, Foremen, and subcontractors across various schemes.
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, procurement schedules, and commercial performance.
  • Review and manage RAMS, temporary works procedures, and construction programmes.
  • Drive high standards of health & safety and ensure full compliance across all sites.
  • Chair progress meetings and maintain regular communication with clients and senior management.
  • Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor activities to maximise productivity.
  • Provide technical and operational support to site teams and assist in resolving on-site challenges.
  • Ensure quality standards and client expectations are consistently achieved throughout delivery.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience working as a Contracts Manager within civils, groundworks or infrastructure sectors.
  • Previous experience delivering data centre, industrial, commercial, or major infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding of drainage, foundations, external works, reinforced concrete, and infrastructure packages.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects and maintain programme targets.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and site compliance procedures.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications required.
  • Temporary Works knowledge or experience beneficial.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
