This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to lead a kitchen team and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals that support residents’ health and well-being.
The Role
Reporting to the Home Manager, you’ll manage the day‑to‑day kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You’ll cater to residents’ dietary needs while creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Head Chef in a care / nursing home or similar setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of nutrition, allergens, and food safety regulations
- NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent (desirable)
- Excellent communication and time management
- Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends
