PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor on behalf of a leading construction contractor with a strong pipeline of work across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a diverse range of projects across the commercial, fit-out, education, healthcare, residential and heritage sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving health, safety and environmental standards across multiple live construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across projects and the wider supply chain.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
- Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Support project teams with SHE advice, guidance and best practice.
- Assist in incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Deliver toolbox talks, site briefings and SHE training where required.
- Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with company procedures and legislation.
- Support external audits and inspections.
- Ensure project SHE documentation is maintained and up to date.
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, clients and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Environmental role within construction.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
- CSCS Card.
- Experience carrying out site audits, inspections and investigations.
- Strong understanding of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Experience delivering training and toolbox talks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

- IOSH Membership.
- NEBOSH Fire Certificate.
- Temporary Works knowledge.
- Scaffolding Inspection qualification.
- Mental Health First Aid.
- Experience working on major construction or fit-out projects.
