The Role We are seeking an experienced proactive QA Inspector / Technical Assistant to conduct quality checks, assess installations and installer competency, sign off improvements, and provide practical technical guidance across our compliance programme. Key responsibilities: · Carry out QA inspections of fire compartmentation / firestopping installations and sign off remedial works · Support FIRAS audits and help maintain ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 compliance · Assess installer competency, manage improvement plans and deliver on-site technical briefings / toolbox talks · Complete pre-commencement site audits and advise on suitable products and solutions · Provide clear technical guidance to our operations team and contribute to project-specific passive fire designs · Prepare accurate O&M manuals for clients on project completion What You'll Bring · Experience in QA / compliance, ideally within firestopping, passive fire, fit-out or MEPH · Good working knowledge of fire compartmentation, manufacturer details and industry standards · Confident communicator - comfortable on site with installers and in front of clients · Strong attention to detail, organised, and proactive · A-Level / Level 3 qualification or equivalent trade background Desirable (not essential): · IFE Level 2, CSCS card, or experience in passive fire protection / design management · Experience with Onetrace, Bolster, Aconex, Viewpoint · Exposure to BIM tools: Dalux, Navisworks, Revizto, Autodesk Forma What We Offer · 24 days holiday + bank holidays · Company pension, profit sharing and company sick pay · Private healthcare · Free on-site parking · Company events · Supportive team environment with 30+ years of industry expertise and friendly, knowledge-sharing team culture
