Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership across the full M&E delivery function.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including Project Managers, Commercial teams, Design Managers and Site Management teams.
  • Ensure programme, commercial, quality and health & safety objectives are achieved.
  • Manage client relationships and act as the senior point of contact throughout project delivery.
  • Oversee procurement, design coordination, commissioning and handover activities.
  • Drive project performance, mitigating risk and ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain programme certainty and commercial success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating as an M&E Project Director, Senior Project Director or equivalent on major construction projects.
  • Strong background delivering large-scale M&E packages valued in excess of £20m.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
  • Demonstrable track record delivering projects safely, on programme and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills.

Desirable

  • Experience on public sector, custodial, healthcare, defence or other highly regulated environments.
  • Tier 1 contractor background.
  • Mechanical or Electrical qualification.
  • SMSTS and relevant industry accreditations.
