We are looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join the pre-construction team of a leading UK construction contractor.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in securing projects across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, residential, leisure and public sector developments.
Working alongside bid managers, estimators, operational teams and senior leadership, you will be responsible for producing engaging, client-focused submissions that showcase the organisation's expertise, values and ability to deliver exceptional projects.
Bid Writer roles & responsibilities Writing and editing high-quality responses for PQQs, SQs, ITTs and framework submissions.
Interpreting client requirements and tailoring responses to meet evaluation criteria.
Working closely with operational, commercial and technical teams to gather information and develop compelling content.
Creating and maintaining a library of case studies, CVs, project information and standard responses.
Reviewing submissions to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance.
Supporting bid planning meetings and coordinating contributions from internal stakeholders.
Assisting with presentation materials and interview preparation for tender submissions.
Capturing client feedback and incorporating lessons learned into future bids.
Keeping content up to date with the latest project achievements, innovations and best practice Bid Writer requirements Previous experience as a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer or similar role within the construction, engineering or built environment sector.
