A care service on the outskirts of Dumfries in Lockerbie is currently seeking an experienced Support Worker to join the team on a permanent basis.

Details of this Support Worker vacancy and what the successful candidate can expect to receive:

  • Permanent contract to work 22-44 hours per week on day or night shifts
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour, with the potential to earn up to £28,828 per year

As a Support Worker, you will support and maintain the care and wellbeing of service users, working closely with the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior Staff to support the day-to-day running of the service.

What we are looking for in a Support Worker:

  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and a commitment to delivering high standards of support and care
  • A Care Certificate / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential)
  • The right to work in the UK
