We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller with Site Admin experience to join one of our key clients on a project in Leeds.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in document control and site administration within the construction sector.
Role:
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and version control. You will play a key role in supporting the project team with timely access to drawings, reports, and other essential documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain document control systems and registers
- Manage incoming and outgoing documents, drawings, and correspondence
- Ensure all documentation is correctly filed, archived, and accessible
- Track revisions and ensure the latest versions are issued to relevant parties
- Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to coordinate document flow
- Maintain compliance with company and project standards
- Support the Project Manager and wider team with administrative tasks and reporting
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of document control systems (e.g. Viewpoint / 4Projects, Asite, Aconex, etc.)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
