We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a busy construction project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all setting out and engineering works are carried out accurately and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and checking M&E grid lines across the project
- Overseeing and verifying steelwork installation to ensure accuracy and compliance with drawings
- Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality and safety standards
- Carrying out site surveys, measurements, and quality checks
- Coordinating with subcontractors, site management, and design teams
- Identifying and resolving any engineering or technical issues on site
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress to senior management
- Ensuring all work is delivered in line with project deadlines and specifications
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of setting out and site engineering principles
- Experience working with M&E grid lines and structural steelwork
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects
- Relevant engineering or construction qualification
- CSCS card required
- SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
- Experience within commercial, industrial, or large‑scale construction projects preferred
