We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established main contractor for an experienced No.2 Site Manager to join the team on a 10m new build industrial development in Woking.
The Project
You'll be supporting the Project Manager on the delivery of a new build industrial unit, comprising:
- Groundworks and foundations
- Structural steel frame
- External envelope
- Industrial fit-out
- Office fit-out, including M&E installations
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Project Manager with the day-to-day running of site
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme
- Monitoring quality, progress and Health & Safety compliance
- Assisting with programme management and site logistics
- Managing daily site records and reporting
- Working closely with the commercial and technical teams throughout delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager or No.2 Site Manager on industrial or commercial new build projects
- Strong knowledge of steel frame construction and industrial developments
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)
- Temporary Works Coordinator and Fire Marshal certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience using Procore is highly desirable
- Must have access to a laptop and mobile phone
