Health & Safety Manager – Surrey
PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager in and around Surrey.
This opportunity is working for a family owned mechanical contractor, who operate across London and the South East within the education, commercial, industrial and public sectors.
Position: Health & Safety Manager
Location: Surrey & London
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 + package (Dependant on experience)
Industry: Mechanical
Health & Safety Manager responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining a quality management system in accordance with applicable standards.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support contract managers to embed quality standards and continuous improvement culture.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Coordinate safety training programs for employees and ensure emergency response plans are in place.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Experience required:
- Several years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining QSHE management systems.
- Experience in conducting audits and inspections.
