I am currently recruiting for experienced and approachable Public Liaison Officer to support my clients ongoing project and act as the key link between the site team and the surrounding community.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary contact for residents, businesses, and local stakeholders.
- Communicate project timelines, works schedules, road closures, and potential disruptions.
- Prepare and distribute public notices, newsletters, and community updates.
- Attend resident meetings, stakeholder briefings, and community engagement events.
- Log and manage all public enquiries, feedback, and complaints.
- Work closely with construction and site management teams to provide solutions and minimise impact.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and actions taken.
- Support with promoting safety and ensuring compliance with public engagement requirements.
- Previous experience in a Public Liaison, Resident Liaison, Community Engagement, or customer-facing role.
- Background in construction or infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Confident dealing with members of the public and managing sensitive issues.
- Ability to travel to site as required; a driving licence is advantageous.
