My client is a building contractor based largely across the South East, delivering high-quality internal and refurbishment schemes including fit-out and M&E works ranging from £100k to £2m. The Contracts Manager will manage a portfolio of 3–4 projects simultaneously, each worth approximately £2m, site-based and working from the office or home as required.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all projects are delivered to safety, cost, programme and quality targets (snag free, on time, RIDDOR free).
- Co-ordinate site teams including project managers, site managers and engineers.
- Lead projects with a focus on safe and efficient execution.
Qualifications:
- Background in internal/M&E build work with a mechanical bias.
- Previous experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive approach and forward-thinking mindset.
- SMSTS certificate required.
- CSC card required.
