Salary: £39,680 - £46,944

In addition to your base salary you will do up to 3 sleep‑ins per month, these are paid at £80 per sleep (approx. £2,880 per year). Attendance allowance up to £1,400 per year, £2,000 Regional Allowance, £1,500 Responsibility Allowance, £1,000 Welcome Bonus on successful completion of probation and £1,000 Loyalty Bonus after 12 months of employment.

Our client, a leading provider of Residential Care and Education, is looking to appoint a team of superstars to their beautiful home in Botley. Their homes accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and their aim is to create the best possible outcome for the young people in their care. Their support workers are fulfilled by the idea of affecting even the smallest positive changes in their young people, so they celebrate the little things.

What your day will look like:

You’ll be a part of taking care of their young people day to day, making sure things run smoothly and creating lasting memories. As a team leader you will also make sure that the staff team are supported and the home is operating at its high standards, prepared to step up to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers. They’re looking for someone able to relate to and build relationships with their young people. Compassionate, emotionally resilient, and supportive, you’ll also be able to provide the leadership that inspires your colleagues.

What we’re looking for:

  • A ‘can do’ attitude – a team player who rolls up their sleeves to help others
  • We genuinely care about our young people (and each other) so honesty and empathy is a must
  • The resilience to be able to deal with challenging situations
  • A full UK driving licence which you’ve held for at least 12 months
  • This role requires you to have the Level 3 Children’s Residential Care qualification
