Freelance M&E Project Manager - Life Sciences Fit Out
Location: Fife
Contract Length: May - September
Rate: £350 - £390 a day
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance M&E Project Manager to join a leading business delivering a high-specification Life Sciences fit out project based North East of Edinburgh. This project will involve the delivery of specialist laboratory and cleanroom environments, and we are looking for a candidate with proven experience managing complex M&E packages within regulated sectors.
The successful candidate will oversee the M&E delivery on site, working closely with specialist Mechanical & Electrical subcontractors already engaged on the project. The primary focus of the role will be driving Health & Safety standards, coordinating contractors, and acting as the key point of contact for the client throughout the programme.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the delivery of M&E works on a live Life Sciences fit out project
- Manage and coordinate specialist M&E subcontractors on site
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and site compliance are maintained to the highest standard
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates
- Monitor programme, quality, and site progress
- Coordinate with the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery
- Proven experience managing M&E projects up to £2m in value
- Previous experience within the Life Sciences sector
