We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor to work on large-scale Data Centre projects across the Midlands and Home Counties. This is a site-based, delivery-focused role overseeing the day-to-day installation of electrical services on complex, high-value schemes. The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for driving productivity on site, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring electrical works are delivered safely, to programme, and to the highest quality standards. This role suits a hands-on Electrical Supervisor with experience working for a main contractor on technically demanding projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site Electrical Supervisor for all electrical installation activities
- Supervise electrical subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring productivity and quality
- Deliver electrical works in line with drawings, specifications, and construction programme
- Manage day-to-day site activities including sequencing, access, and coordination with other trades
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality control, and housekeeping
- Carry out inspections, snagging, and quality checks of electrical installations
- Monitor progress and report issues, delays, and resource requirements to site management
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems
Requirements
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Supervisor on large construction projects
- Background in Data Centre, mission-critical, or complex commercial projects preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services, power, containment, and systems
- Experience supervising subcontractors and site labour within a main contractor environment
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills essential for an Electrical Supervisor
