With a strong and expanding project pipeline across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their leadership team and support continued growth.
The Role
The successful Contracts Manager will oversee multiple dry lining projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. The role involves close collaboration with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project delivery and uphold our client's reputation for quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple dry lining contracts from pre-start to handover
- Conduct regular site visits across the South Coast
- Review project specifications, drawings, and construction schedules
- Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of safety and quality
- Work closely with clients, main contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor project costs, variations, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures
- Support tendering, programming, and procurement activities
- Maintain excellent customer relations and promote repeat business
About You
Our client is looking for a candidate with:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager within dry lining, interiors, or fit-out
- Strong technical knowledge of dry lining systems (SFS, partitions, ceilings, plastering, insulation)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Strong commercial awareness and experience overseeing project budgets
- The ability to manage multiple sites and prioritise workload effectively
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude
- A full UK driving licence
