Immediate Start - direct CIS or LTD role. PSR are currently working with a leading contractor on a major project in Zone 1 London, and we are seeking an experienced Structural Alterations biased Project Manager to join on a day rate basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a complex, high-profile central London scheme, with long-term work and strong earning potential.
The Role
- Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager
- Managing various structural alteration projects across Zone 1.
- Overseeing packages including cut & carve, demolition, temporary works, steel installations, propping, and structural modifications
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient delivery
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety on technically challenging works in a constrained Zone 1 environment
Requirements
- Proven track record as a PM on structural alterations projects
- Strong knowledge of temporary works, sequencing, and structural risk management
- Experience working on central London / live environment / complex refurb schemes (highly desirable)
- SMSTS or SSSTS - essential
- CSCS Card - essential
- First Aid at Work - desirable
- Temporary works or plant tickets - advantageous
