PSR Solutions are working on behalf of a well-established contractor to recruit an experienced Document Controller for a busy London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded business delivering high-profile projects across London and the South East. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project teams and ensuring the smooth control and distribution of project documentation.
The Role
As Document Controller, you will be responsible for the accurate management, control, and distribution of all project documentation across multiple projects. You will work closely with project managers, design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure information is issued correctly and in line with company procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing document control systems and ensuring all drawings and documents are correctly logged, issued, and archived
- Maintaining up-to-date document registers
- Distributing drawings, specifications, and reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitoring document revisions and ensuring superseded information is withdrawn
- Supporting project teams with general administrative duties as required
- Ensuring compliance with internal QA procedures and project-specific requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Document Controller role within construction, fit-out, or interiors
- Strong working knowledge of document management systems - essential is Asite (e.g. Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, Procore or similar)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Confident communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
