This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Digital Construction, BIM and Information Management to work across major construction projects throughout London. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing and managing digital construction processes across projects, working closely with operational, design and project teams to ensure information is effectively captured, coordinated and managed throughout the project lifecycle. The Role As Digital Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the implementation of digital construction and information management processes across multiple projects. Key responsibilities will include: Managing project information models and ensuring information is effectively shared across project and client teams Supporting project teams with BIM and digital construction processes Ensuring project information management procedures are aligned with ISO 19650 Managing and reviewing model coordination and mobilisation plans Ensuring project teams and supply chain partners correctly utilise the Common Data Environment (CDE) Reviewing BIM models to ensure the required graphical and non-graphical information is being delivered Managing model federation and clash detection/coordination Supporting the development and maintenance of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) Contributing to Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP) Establishing and maintaining compliant digital workflows across projects Supporting digital processes throughout design, construction and project handover Working closely with project teams to resolve technical issues relating to digital tools and systems Supporting field data capture, QA/QC and project information management Providing training and support to project teams on digital construction tools and applications Capturing and sharing best practice and lessons learned across projects Supporting ISO 19650 and information management audits Working alongside wider digital, IT, design and operational teams to continually improve digital project delivery Experience Required We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of digital construction and BIM within the construction industry. Ideally, you will have experience across: Digital Construction / BIM ISO 19650 Common Data Environments (CDE) BIM Execution Plans Model federation and management Clash detection and model coordination 3D model environments 4D planning and/or 5D forecasting COBie and project handover information Field data capture QA/QC processes MIDP and TIDP processes Supporting and training project teams in digital tools and technology You should have previous experience working within construction, engineering or a related environment, ideally with a main contractor. A construction-related degree or equivalent industry experience would be advantageous.
