We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Assistant Site Manager to join a team on a residential development in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in housebuilding and site management.

Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you will gain practical, hands-on experience in all aspects of residential construction while developing the skills and knowledge needed to progress within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the construction site.
  • Help ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Monitor subcontractors and support the coordination of site activities.
  • Carry out quality inspections and help maintain build standards.
  • Support health and safety compliance across the site.
  • Assist with site records, reports, and documentation.
  • Help ensure plots are completed on time and ready for customer handover.
  • Work closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider construction team.
