PSR Solutions are proud to be partnering with a highly respected care provider in the search for an experienced Training and Development Coordinator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate training professional with a strong background in health and social care to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering exceptional learning experiences across multiple care services.
As Learning and Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering a broad portfolio of mandatory and specialist training programmes to ensure teams consistently provide outstanding, person-centred care. Covering residential and nursing homes, and potentially homecare branches, you will predominantly support services across the Midlands, London, and the South Coast, with wider travel as required. You will also support induction training in new services, develop home-based champions, and carry out supervisions to maintain training standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering care-related training across a wide range of subjects including Moving and Assisting, Safeguarding, First Aid, and Basic Life Support, as well as advanced subjects like the Mental Capacity Act and Dementia care.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory frameworks including CQC and Skills for Care L3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent) essential.
- NUCO and RoSPA qualifications desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Compassionate, engaging, and able to inspire diverse learner groups.
- Flexible approach with willingness to travel extensively.
