My client is seeking multiple experienced Site Managers to join a major retail rollout programme delivering projects across the East of England. This is a fast-paced, high-volume programme offering long-term continuity of work, with an initial 18-month pipeline already secured and the opportunity to move onto future projects within the wider business upon completion.

The Opportunity

Working on a series of retail fit-out and refurbishment schemes, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from site set-up through to completion, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. The centre of the patch is around Braintree, with projects extending down to Southend-on-Sea and up to King's Lynn. Candidates should therefore be willing to travel across the region as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of site activities
  • Coordination and supervision of subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements
  • Managing programme delivery and site progress
  • Maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Liaising with clients, project teams and stakeholders

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you MUST hold:

  • Valid Black or White CSCS Card
  • SMSTS Certificate
  • First Aid at Work Certificate

You will also have:

  • Proven experience managing retail fit-out, refurbishment or rollout projects
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • The ability to operate effectively within fast-track construction environments

What's on Offer?

  • 18 months of secured work
  • Major retail rollout programme
  • Standard Monday to Friday working pattern
  • Consistent project pipeline across multiple locations
  • Opportunity for follow-on work within the business
  • Competitive rates available

Whilst the programme is predominantly delivered across a standard five-day week, occasional weekend working may be required should any projects require programme recovery.

If you are an experienced Site Manager with a retail background and are looking for a long-term contract opportunity, we would be keen to speak with you.
