We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Traffic Marshall with an Enhanced DBS check to join a new 50-week project in the construction sector.
Key Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS clearance
- Must have experience working in construction sites
- Must hold a valid CSCS card
- Proven experience as a Traffic Marshall
- Knowledge of traffic management procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and situational awareness skills
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
Key Duties:
- Directing and controlling traffic safely around the construction site
- Ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, pedestrians, and deliveries
- Setting up and removing traffic management equipment, including cones, barriers, and signage
- Monitoring site entrances and exits to prevent unauthorised access
- Communicating with site supervisors and other staff regarding traffic flow and safety concerns
- Reporting hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices immediately
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Assisting in emergency situations as required
