About the Role

Are you looking to develop your technical career within construction and Passive Fire Protection (PFP)? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing technical team and build specialist knowledge in passive fire protection across a range of construction projects. You'll work alongside experienced technical and fire protection professionals, supporting project teams, developing your technical skills and gaining valuable industry experience. The role offers a clear pathway for progression, with training, professional development and opportunities to take on increasing levels of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project-specific passive fire protection requirements by reviewing drawings, specifications, service information and firestopping details.
  • Support design and project teams at relevant RIBA stages by identifying missing, conflicting or incomplete information and raising technical queries with appropriate guidance.
  • Prepare and maintain penetration schedules, firestopping matrices, trackers, client information sheets and other project documentation.
  • Help identify suitable manufacturer-tested firestopping systems and products for review and approval.
