The role will support two Heads of Departments in Finance & Corporate Services.
Finance Strategy & Reporting is responsible for finance policy, financial and statutory reporting, tax, treasury management and oversight of the FCA’s pension schemes. The team also provides business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial analysis to support decision-making across the organisation.
Portfolio Management Unit (PMU) oversees the FCA’s change portfolio, ensuring effective prioritisation, governance and delivery to agreed time, budget and quality standards. The team provides assurance and performance reporting to senior leadership, supports integrated project design and coordinates business planning across Finance & Corporate Services and the wider FCA.
Role responsibilities:
- Manage diaries and inboxes for both Heads of Departments, ensuring timely responses and efficient scheduling
- Oversee review, distribution and tracking of papers, delegations and follow-ups with stakeholders
- Handle expenses, purchase orders and provide system guidance, along with ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Prepare and circulate meeting packs, agendas, minutes and action items for productive meetings
- Liaise with the Directorate’s Executive Assistant and Director’s PA, assisting with administrative duties and providing cover where necessary
- Act as the SharePoint and Records Management super user across both departments, maintaining accurate and secure electronic records in line with information governance requirements and handling confidential information with discretion
- Act as the Pulse super user across both departments, ensuring departmental pages are accurate, well maintained and kept up to date
- Work with other PAs across F&Cs to ensure diary management
