Reliable people data relies on well-managed HR technology, and our HR Systems Associate plays an important role in supporting and maintaining our HR systems.Working as part of the HR Analytics & Systems team, this role provides day-to-day support for Workday and associated HR technologies. You will help ensure the smooth operation of HR processes, support colleagues across HR and the wider organisation, investigate system issues, maintain data quality and contribute to system improvements.You will also have the opportunity to develop your Workday skills through hands-on involvement in configuration activities, testing, data management and integrations support, including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) data loads. This role is ideal for someone with some experience of HR systems who enjoys problem-solving, working with data and delivering a positive user experience.Role responsibilitiesProvide day-to-day administration and user support for Workday and other HR systems, investigating queries, resolving issues and supporting the smooth delivery of HR processesSupport core HR processes within Workday, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with agreed proceduresCarry out routine system administration and maintenance activities, including updates to reference data, notifications, system settings, approved configuration changes and maintenance of system documentation and guidance materialsSupport data quality and governance activities through audits, validation checks, reporting, data corrections and ongoing monitoringPrepare, validate and process Workday EIB data loads, and support integrations and data transfer activities by monitoring interfaces, investigating errors and working with colleagues and suppliers to resolve issuesSupport Workday releases, enhancements and projects through testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation updates and post-release activitiesCollaborate with HR, Payroll, IT and wider stakeholders to understand requirements, support effective business processes and deliver a positive user experienceContribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance system functionality, data quality, user experience and operational processesSkills requiredMinimum:Proven experience using, supporting or administering Workday or another HR system in an operational environmentDemonstrable experience of working with core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, using HR systems to support effective process controls and maintain accurate employee data undefinedEssential:Experience supporting HR system users, providing guidance on system processes and transactions and delivering a positive user experienceExperience with HR system administration, maintenance, testing and configuration activities, including updates to reference data, notifications, business processes or other system settingsExperience working with HR data, including data validation, data quality management, reporting, audits, updates and governance activitiesExperience preparing, validating or processing data loads, EIBs, integrations or related data transfer processes within Workday or similar systemsSolid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, investigate and resolve system and data issues in a structured mannerEffective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and build effective relationships across teamsWell-organised and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads, manage multiple tasks and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindsetBenefits25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysNon-contributory pension (8–12% depending on age) and life assurance at eight times your salaryPrivate healthcare with Bupa, income protection and 24/7 Employee Assistance35 hours of paid volunteering annuallyColleagues spend a minimum of 50% of their working time in the office each month (60% for Directors and Executive Directors) across our London, Leeds and Edinburgh offices.A flexible benefits scheme designed around your lifestyleFor a full list of our benefits and our recruitment process as a whole visit our benefits page .Our values and cultureOur colleagues are the key to our success as a regulator.
