Role Summary
You will take the ownership of the day-to-day finance function, and not afraid to get involved, while also supporting the development and growth of the company through improved systems and processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Complete month-end processes and produce monthly Management Accounts.
- Prepare budgets and report on variances.
- Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and liaise with the bank.
- Submit quarterly Group VAT data to accountants, review, and process payments.
- Raise sales invoices and manage credit control.
- Assist in staff recruitment, management, and development of the department as the company grows.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process and pay supplier invoices.
- Monitor performance against financial targets and recommend actions.
- Continuously improve finance department processes to meet changing business needs.
Experience and Qualifications
- AAT qualified (or higher) or qualified by experience.
- Experience in management accounting.
- A proactive approach to system and process improvement and financial controls.
