P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently looking for a Quality Manager on a full-time, permanent basis in Great Yarmouth.Job Summary:The Quality Manager is responsible for delivering all aspects of Quality and HSE at the location. The role involveschampioning best practice and driving continual improvement throughout the business through interaction withinternal and external stakeholders, both locally and globally.Main Responsibilities:QHSE Leadership & ManagementLead the local QHSE function, including resources, workload and budget.Identify and communicate key risks, opportunities and improvement actions.Produce management and client reports and monitor performance against objectives.Lead QHSE audits, management reviews, process reviews and supplier assessments.Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions.Maintain and improve the Business Management System (BMS).Support external audits and accreditation requirements.Establish and maintain effective supplier QHSE standards.QualityDevelop and implement the local Quality strategy in line with global objectives.Manage ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.Oversee Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, inspection activities and technical documentation.Review material certification, welding, PMI, dimensional, paint and final inspection requirements.Support design reviews, project handovers and process standardisation.Monitor cost of poor quality and Right First-Time performance.Deliver quality training and drive continual improvement.Health & SafetyDevelop and implement the local H&S strategy and manage ISO 45001 compliance.Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed.Maintain legal and regulatory compliance.Develop and support H&S training and competency frameworks.Produce regular HSE performance and trend reports.Promote and embed an employee-led health and safety culture.EnvironmentDevelop and implement the local environmental strategy and manage ISO 14001 compliance.Lead environmental incident investigations and corrective actions.Maintain environmental legal and regulatory compliance.Support environmental training and awareness.Monitor and report environmental performance, trends and objectives.Drive continual improvement and promote a strong environmental culture.Person Specification:HND/HNC in suitable subject areaQuality Lead auditor trainedNEBOSH certificate or equivalentManagement, lead or supervisory trainingLean Six Sigma (desired)NEBOSH diploma or equivalentProven people management and development skillsSignificant demonstratable experience in a similar roleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient IT skills (MS Office, Power BI, ERP)Significant experience of a bespoke manufacturing environmentExperience of API Q1 requirements for oilfield equipment manufacturers (desirable)Working Hours and Benefits:Monday to Friday.37.5 hours per week.Work from Home options.Private MedicalLife AssuranceIncome ProtectionPersonal AccidentUp to 7.5% contribution to PensionIf this is a role you are interested in, please apply online ensuring your CV is up to date....
