PSP focuses heavily on application design, re-branding, website, and bespoke software development as well as IT Transformation Project management for our clients. The Role:

As part of the Business Transformation Team, your role as Business Analyst will be to solve organisational information problems and requirements by analysing, gathering, and translating legacy systems, documentation, and system process requirements required by our clients, including designing and writing new computer programmes specifications and recommending systems and protocols. Conduct a thorough analysis of current business processes with a track record of building the bridge between legacy business systems and the new technology solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of automation and modern software applications to support the design and delivery of scalable, modular digital solutions.
  • Liaise with IT teams, developers, and architects to ensure business requirements are translated effectively into working approaches for systems and services.
  • Collaborate with Software Testing teams to ensure that specifications and acceptance criteria are reflected in test plans, cases, and scripts, validating that they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Document, report, and communicate findings across business functions, ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business transformation objectives.
  • Support and align efforts to meet customer, business, and digital transformation needs, ensuring solutions leverage cloud-native, API-first, and headless capabilities.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations by maintaining clear communication processes, providing regular updates on project results and transformation progress.
  • Conduct business and systems process analysis with a focus on digital transformation, quality improvement, and data management.
  • Ensure data flows are reliable, valid, and optimised for long-term strategies.
  • Recommend and facilitate process improvements, re-engineering opportunities, and integration approaches, ensuring best practice is utilised for new and existing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product owners to implement requirements and provide guidance during testing and deployment phases.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement (both proactive and reactive), ensuring that systems evolve to meet future digital needs.

From Our Line Manager:

You will be a dedicated Business Systems Analyst who keeps up to date on all the latest technologies. You will be comfortable working full time in a commercial development environment, having worked to tight deadlines in previous positions, and be a proven problem solver who can add real value to your software team.

About You:

  • Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills.
  • Understanding of business process and system mapping best practices and tools.
  • You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process improvement methodologies.
  • Have an understanding of all aspects of Project Management across a wide range of applications and businesses with the ability to propose solutions and derive plans that ensure delivery to time, budget, and quality.

Work Location: Office based
Schedule: Monday to Friday 0900 – 1700
Contract: 6/12 months
