Our client is a leading name within the landscaping sector, they require an experienced Gardener to participate in the day-to-day maintenance Responsibilities include carrying out various garden tasks as requested, care of equipment and tools, and following instructions as required * Minimum of one year experience in residential garden maintenance/soft landscaping, or a combination of transferable skills, love of working outdoors and keenness to learn & progress. * A basic knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in garden maintenance operations, standard horticultural practices (planting, pruning, fertilising, etc.) and growth characteristics and identification of a wide variety of plants * Basic first aid certificate or greater * Desirable: horticultural qualifications * Desirable: PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates. * Desirable: Drivers Licence. * Physical aptitude to working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions – physical demands include lifting and carrying, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, kneeling and repetitive motion. * Ability to take and follow instructions. * Good oral and written communication skills * Great cooperation and team skills * High levels of ethical conduct, including timekeeping and attendance * Able to work autonomously. * High standards of work and attention to detail
