Are you an experienced Senior IFA Administrator with strong mortgage knowledge looking for a varied role within a friendly, established financial services team?

PSM Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected Independent Financial Adviser in the search for a proactive and highly organised Senior IFA Administrator.

This is not a traditional paraplanning role, the successful candidate will primarily take ownership of an established mortgage book, while also providing high-quality back-office support across the wider financial planning business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their workload, and is looking for a hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing an existing mortgage book.
  • Preparing and processing mortgage applications.
  • Income reconciliation.
  • Updating client records and fact finds using Intelligent Office (IO).
  • Preparing applications and basic Simply Biz templated suitability reports.
  • Completing annual suitability reviews.
  • Cash calculations.
  • Liaising with providers to resolve missing payments and delayed transfers.
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the wider advisory team.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience as a Senior IFA Administrator.
  • Strong working knowledge of

Intelligent Office (IO) is essential.

  • Mortgage administration or mortgage arranging experience is essential.
  • Mortgage qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Level 4 Diploma (or working towards it) is welcomed but not essential.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • A team player who enjoys working within a close-knit, supportive business.
