Are you an experienced Senior IFA Administrator with strong mortgage knowledge looking for a varied role within a friendly, established financial services team?
PSM Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected Independent Financial Adviser in the search for a proactive and highly organised Senior IFA Administrator.
This is not a traditional paraplanning role, the successful candidate will primarily take ownership of an established mortgage book, while also providing high-quality back-office support across the wider financial planning business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their workload, and is looking for a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and developing an existing mortgage book.
- Preparing and processing mortgage applications.
- Income reconciliation.
- Updating client records and fact finds using Intelligent Office (IO).
- Preparing applications and basic SimplyBiz templated suitability reports.
- Completing annual suitability reviews.
- Cash calculations.
- Liaising with providers to resolve missing payments and delayed transfers.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the wider advisory team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Senior IFA Administrator.
- Strong working knowledge ofIntelligent Office (IO) is essential.
- Mortgage administration or mortgage arranging experience is essential.
- Mortgage qualifications would be advantageous.
- Level 4 Diploma (or working towards it) is welcomed but not essential.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A team player who enjoys working within a close-knit, supportive business.
