We are seeking an experienced and driven Supervisor/Manager to oversee operations across two coffee and dessert shop locations. This is a key role for someone with strong café or dessert shop experience who can confidently manage staff, handle fast-paced order environments, and focus on consistently delivering excellent customer service. A major part of this role will be to increase sales, reduce wastage, and drive overall profitability across both stores. The ideal candidate will also help grow our wholesale cake customer base, promoting our products and building ongoing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across both store locations, ensuring consistency and smooth workflow.
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff, providing training, guidance, and support.
- Handle and monitor orders from delivery platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation.
- Actively work on increasing sales, identifying opportunities for upselling and store growth.
- Implement strategies to reduce wastage and improve cost efficiency.
- Help expand our wholesale cake sales, reaching out to potential clients and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory effectively.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service quality, and food safety.
- Assist with scheduling, rota planning, and staff communication.
- Support with new menu items, promotions, and seasonal product launches.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a coffee shop, dessert shop, or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong supervisory or management experience, ideally across multiple sites.
- Confident working with delivery platforms.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised, proactive, and focused on business improvement.
- Experience in sales development or customer outreach is a bonus, especially for wholesale products.
