Are you an experienced Marketing Executive with a real passion for sports? Our client is redefining the auction experience, combining expertise, innovation, and storytelling to engage audiences across art, sport, and culture. As they continue to grow, they're building a marketing team that delivers creative campaigns, engaging content, and impactful communications that strengthen the brand both internally and externally.

The Role

We're looking for a proactive and creative Marketing & Communications Executive to support marketing initiatives across internal communications, customer engagement, and social media. Based in Henley-on-Thames (with some hybrid flexibility), this role will collaborate closely with both the in‑house team and their external marketing agency to deliver engaging campaigns, branded materials, and event support. You'll also play a key part in promoting new products, services, and activities across the business. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with strong communication skills, an eye for design, with good InDesign/Figma skills and a genuine passion for sport and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Communications
    • Support the planning, creation, and distribution of internal updates, newsletters, and announcements.
    • Work with department heads to ensure clear, consistent internal messaging aligned with company values and goals.
    • Help maintain and improve internal communication channels, including intranet, Slack, Teams, and internal email campaigns.
  • Branded Collateral & Sales Support
    • Design and produce visually engaging company‑branded materials such as presentations, PDFs, and sales documents.
    • Ensure all materials meet brand guidelines and reinforce a consistent visual identity.
    • Support marketing collateral needs for events, auctions, and client presentations.
  • Social Media & Content Creation
    • Develop and schedule engaging social media content, with a focus on sport, product highlights, and event storytelling.
    • Capture and edit photos and short videos for use across social and internal channels.
    • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to grow the digital presence and audience engagement.
  • Marketing Analytics & Reporting
    • Track and analyse marketing and social media performance.
    • Prepare regular reports to measure effectiveness and engagement.
    • Provide actionable insights to improve communications and campaign results.
  • Event & On‑Site Marketing Support
    • Support marketing and communications around company events, both internal and external.
    • Attend events as needed to capture content, manage branding, and assist with live communications.

Skills & Experience

  • A genuine passion for sport and sports‑related content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good eye for design and attention to detail.
  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp for Business).
  • Competent in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Analytical mindset and confidence using data to inform decisions.
  • Ability to travel to Henley, Abingdon, and Wellingborough as required.
  • Experience using tools such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Canva, Slack, Teams, Umbraco (or similar CMS platforms), Google Drive, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience in internal communications or marketing within a business environment is desirable.
  • Artisio auction platform training will be provided.
